Connect Ministries Food Pantry was established in November 2003, by individuals in the faith based community who wanted to make a difference by helping those less fortunate. Since that time we have served hundreds of individuals and families in the D.C Metropolitan area by providing food to those in need.

We are a non-profit agency, staffed by dedicated volunteers who pick up and distribute food weekly. The food pantry is funded by contributions from individuals, businesses, and local grocery stores that donate food.

Since our inception, we have worked with local agencies to inform the community about our services. There are no requirements neccesary to qualify for food baskets each week.

Connect ministries is a member of the Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB), which is the largest public non-profit hunger and nutrition education resource in the Washington Metropolitan area.
